About SPPPA SPPPA, The South Plains Professional Photographers Association, is the local affiliate of Professional Photographers of America, the largest professional photography organization around. SPPPA is the host association for the Lubbock, Amarillo, Midland and Abilene area. The goal of SPPPA is to provide education and support for professional photographers. In addition to offering high quality education, SPPPA also offers an annual scholarship to Texas School of Professional Photography as well as a Fellowship Degree Program. You will find fun, fellowship and friends at the SPPPA SPPPA host a variety of events including our monthly meetings that feature some of the best photographic talent in the world. Any professional photographer is encouraged to come, try us out and join this fantastic group. SPPPA meets on the third Monday of the month (some exceptions, please check the event page) at the Hawthorn Suites located at 4435 Marsha Sharp Fwy in Lubbock Texas.
